Standards of Practice for Professional Nannies


MPNA nannies:

*adhere to and follow federal, state, and local laws regarding the care and safety of children

*dedicate their time to creating a safe, loving, accepting, and enriching environment for the children entrusted to their care

*seek ongoing professional development and learning opportunities

*diligently attend to the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of their charges

*recognize the inherent worth of every child

*take seriously the job of participating in the raising of someone else’s children

*set a professional standard of excellence for their peers, acting as support and resources for one another
